These 96-well plates have 2mL well with U-shaped bottoms and are non-sterile. They have been developed primarily for sample storage. The thin-walled, parallel cavities ensure minimized cross-contamination between wells. For high-quality analysis, these plates are manufactured with using pure polypropylene without the use of lubricants. Plates can be closed using adhesive films, heat-sealing, or the capmat accessory which ensures closing without any liquid displacement or cross-contamination. Plates are coded alphanumerically to aid in sample identification.
Manufactured under cleanroom conditions to ensure the product is DNAse and RNAse free.
