Cytology fixative spray is ideal for routine cytological preparations and transport. It is water soluble and contains no chlorofluorocarbons. Quickly spray a fine mist over the slide (covering the entire specimen) for cellular fixation and reduce air drying of the material. The spray forms a thin, tough, clear protective coating over the specimen with a water and alcohol solution. Prepared cytology slides can be safely transported once coating is sprayed over the cytological smear.
Note: Allow specimens to dry before sending to lab or for storage.
