The Trichrome Stain Kit (Modified Gomoris) is intended for use in the histological visualization of collagenous connective tissue fibers in tissue sections. The Gomori Trichrome is a more simplified procedure than other more traditional trichromes. Additionally, this procedure is useful in the assessment of the degree of fibrosis in liver biopsies.
