Our Amyloid Stain Kit (Congo Red) is intended for use in the histological visualization of amyloid in tissue sections. Examination under a polarizing microscope results in green birefringence of amyloid. No working solution preparation is required, making it faster and more convenient than similar kits or procedures.

Amyloid: Red to Pink
Erythrocytes: Light Orange
Eosinophil Granules: Orange to Red
Nuclei: Blue

Uses/Limitations:
– For In-Vitro Diagnostic use only
– Histological applications
– Do not use past expiration date
– Use caution when handling these reagents

Control Tissue:
– Freshly cut sections containing amyloid
– Cut sections 6-12 microns to show smaller amyloid deposits
